As you may well have heard the government has announced that hair and beauty salons in England will not be able to re-open until 4 July 2020 at the earliest which is yet to be confirmed.
Booking an appointment
We are aware that you are keen to book your hair and beauty appointment as soon as possible, if the government guidelines proves to be correct we will start to take bookings 2 weeks prior to opening on or around the 20th June 2020.
To start, we will be calling all clients who had appointments cancelled when the lockdown was enforced, starting with bookings commencing Tuesday 24th March and working through day by day to make sure we can re-book any clients who missed out on their appointments.
At this time if you do wish to add your name to our appointment list please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the service you would like to book, your preferred stylists name (if any) a preferred time and date (we cant promise but will of course try our best to accommodate).
Needless to say we will be extremely busy and unable to perform at full capacity due to the restrictions and extension of appointment times, with this in mind to secure your booking we politely request a deposit of 20% which can be taken over the phone or via bank transfer at the time of booking. This is to avoid missed appointments and then being unable to fill those precious appointment times at the last minute. Deposits will be fully refunded if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the appointment time. Please note at this time we are unable to honour gift cards, offers or discounts.
Upon re-opening, can we request that all appointments are made either by telephone or using our online booking system until further notice (please note our online booking system will re-open from the beginning of July). Due to social distancing please do not visit the salon personally to make an appointment.
Please note, at this busy time we may not be able to answer the phone but if you leave your name, phone number, and message. we will make sure to return your call as soon as possible.
Social distancing in the salon
We would like to inform you of the steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our clients whilst visiting ‘Pretty Soul Hair and Beauty’.
We are aware there will be restrictions and guidelines we will need to follow with the social distancing rules, this will mean the salon will have a reduction in the amount of both staff and clients in the salon at any one time. For the first month we will be extending our working week (days/hours tbc) and adjusting our staff rota’s to make sure we can fulfil our clients needs. You will be looked after solely by your personal stylist/beauty therapist for your entire appointment, thus minimising unnecessary contact with others.
We kindly request that you attend your appointment alone for the general safety of other salon clients and our staff
(if you have any special requirements or have a carer please advise us when making your booking to accommodate your needs). We will also be increasing the appointment times for each service so we avoid overlapping clients being in the salon at anyone one time. Please try to arrive as close to your appointment time as possible to avoid over crowding in the salon.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
We are fully prepared with the recommended health and safety measures in place, including; face masks, face visors, disposable single use aprons, single use client gowns, disposable gloves, disinfectant, hand sanitiser etc.
We do request that each client attends their appointment with a mask (if you arrive without one we will provide one for a non profitable fee of £1.00 which will be added to your final bill).
We do ask you to be patient at this time as we will be extremely busy and will of course do everything in our power to make sure our clients are booked in and their hair and beauty needs are taken care of.
